This shake produces lots of ooohs and aaahs as little fingers
hit the blender button. Kids think it’s fun to see the bright pink colors they create in
this easy breakfast or snack beverage. Little do they know it’s also providing them with
vitamin C, vitamin A and other key nutrients for energy and health. To freeze bananas, first
peel them and wrap in plastic wrap before stashing in the freezer.
Ingredients
1 cup (240mL) soy or nonfat milk
1/2 cup (120g) lowfat vanilla yogurt
1 cup (300g) fresh strawberries
1/2 frozen banana, cut into chunks
1 tsp (3g) bee pollen
Directions
Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
